BARRIER-FREE MOBILITY
ARWEI entrance mats can be furnished with a tactile guidance system for an optimized orientation of blind and visually impaired persons. Thus, the daily life of these people with a
handicap is facilitated, especially when entering and leaving a building.
THE TACTILE SYSTEM BY ARWEI LEAVES NOTHING TO BE DESIRED - IT IS HIGH QUALITY, MODULAR AND CAN EASILY BE INTEGRATED INTO THE ARWEI REINSTREIFER.
- Optical contrast by high contrast coloring for persons who recognize differences in
brightness. - Tactile contrast, which is recognized by blind persons with their shoe sole and the white
cane. - Integration of attention zones by different cleaning pads or implemented burls - for
example at junctions. - Combination of all profiles is possible beginning with a mat height of 17 to 42 mm.

Integration in the floor covering Junctions
The tactile guidance system by ARWEI
can easily be incorporated in a tactile system integrated in the floor cover.
The advantage:
Persons with a handicap find the direct way into the building. Junctions, for example, at information points or
similar are integrated into the cleaning zones.

According to DIN 18040-1 for barrier-free construction the ARWEI Reinstreifer can be included already in the early
planning phase for a barrier-free entrance. This saves time and money - as later reconstruction still is possible due
to the ARWEI modular construction system, but no longer necessary.
